Decatur County Rural Water Corporation is a non-profit membership owned water utility.  In order to purchase water from the Rural Water Corporation a membership must be purchased.  The membership fee is $100.  This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.  However, it is a one time fee regardless of how many properties the member may own.  As a member, an individual is to comply with the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, and the Rules and Regulations of the Corporation.

One right of a membership is the right to vote at a meeting of the members.  A joint membership of a husband and wife is considered one vote.  For more information on the entitlements of a member, please see the Bylaws which are available at the office.

Steps to Complete Membership

1. Read through DCRW Membership Regulations, Penalties and Policies.
2. Pay Membership Fee. You may pay under the Payments tab – Online Payments, pay by phone with card or come into our office.

3. Send copy of Photo I.D. by clicking on link under Part 1 of the Online Forms.
4. Fill out Membership Application Part 1 and Part 2.
